The name “Bantu” represents a diverse ethnolinguistic grouping of approximately 400 distinct native African ethnic groups, for whom community and collaboration are key.

Bantu Consulting was founded in 2024. We are passionate about providing consulting and advisory services that not only educate clients about generational wealth, but empower them to build structures that create and manage this wealth, for themselves and future generations. Peter is the Founder of Bantu Consulting.
Originally born in Zimbabwe, Peter relocated to New Zealand at a young age, where he completed his education. He graduated from The University of Auckland with his Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Laws (Honours) double degree. He was subsequently admitted to practice law in New Zealand before relocating to Australia, where he was admitted to practice law in Victoria and registered as a practitioner of the High Court of Australia.
Peter is a corporate lawyer with a range of experience and expertise in banking and finance law, corporate and commercial law, property law and development, and investment / wealth management.
Peter has experience both as a private practice lawyer and as in-house counsel, having worked at a premium Australian law firm, and a high net worth family office.
Peter is bilingual in English and Shona. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, frequenting Melbourne cafes, and travelling back home to Africa.
Peter maintains strong personal and professional ties to his home country of Zimbabwe, and actively incorporates these ties into the business for the benefit of his clients.
